The Tour du Mont Blanc is a unique trek of more than 170 km around Mont Blanc that can be completed in between 7 and 10 days passing through Italy, Switzerland and France.

Hikers, climbers and mountaineers will greatly appreciate stop overs offered by refuges and gites along the Tour du Mont Blanc.

The Ecuries de Charamillon gîte is located in the heart of the mountain pastures on the Tour / Col de Balme ski area.
Peace and quiet are guaranteed, with only the black Hérens cows and marmots for company.
The sunny terrace and breathtaking views of the Mont-Blanc range and the Chamonix valley will help you recharge your batteries.

The refuge is located in the Charamillon mountain pasture and is shown as "Chalets de Charamillon" on the IGN maps.
Accessible from the Tour du Mont Blanc trail, from the village of Le Tour (1h15) or from the Charamillon cable car (15 minutes).

After crossing the Col de Balme, follow the signs for Le Tour/Charamillon and descend into the mountain pastures between the two ski lifts.
Directional signs are posted in the mountain pasture.
