These terms and conditions of sale apply to any accommodation booking made on www.montourdumontblanc.com. By confirming your booking, you accept them in full.

Two cancellation deadlines apply, depending on whether you book as an individual or as a professional (travel agency, tour operator, guide). All other conditions are common to both.

Cancellation policy

Individual customers

  • Cancellation made more than 30 days before the arrival date : 80% of the amounts paid are refunded directly through the Stripe payment solution. The remaining 20% are retained by the accommodation provider to cover processing and refund fees.
  • Cancellation made 30 days or less before the arrival date : no refund is granted; the amounts paid remain the property of the accommodation provider.

Professional customers

  • Cancellation made more than 60 days before the arrival date : 80% of the amounts paid are refunded directly through the Stripe payment solution. The remaining 20% are retained by the accommodation provider to cover processing and refund fees.
  • Cancellation made 60 days or less before the arrival date : no refund is granted; the amounts paid remain the property of the accommodation provider.

The deadline is calculated from the planned arrival date at the accommodation concerned, not from the booking date.

Liability and legal framework

The website www.montourdumontblanc.com is a platform that puts hikers in touch with accommodation providers and is not a travel agency.

Each refuge, gîte or establishment listed on the website remains solely responsible for applying these terms and conditions of sale, as well as for the services it offers.

By booking through the website, you enter into a contract directly with the chosen accommodation provider, who assumes full responsibility for your booking and for any cancellation of it.

Insurance

Cancellation and trip interruption

When you book, cancellation / trip interruption insurance is offered to you. We strongly recommend taking it out in order to cover your costs in the event of an unforeseen circumstance, in accordance with the guarantees defined by the insurer.

Mountain rescue

In addition to your accommodation, remember to take out insurance for mountain rescue. For €2.75 per day, you can benefit from cover of up to €50,000, in particular for helicopter winching costs.
