Founded in 2011, the Association of Refuge and Guesthouse Wardens of the Tour du Mont-Blanc brings together the professionals who welcome hikers all along the route.
Today it unites a network across France, Italy and Switzerland, coordinating those on the ground to ensure a consistent standard of welcome and reliable information.
Behind every stage of the Tour du Mont-Blanc are men and women who live and work in the mountains. Day in, day out, they welcome hikers, share their knowledge of the area and help make the Tour a unique experience — both genuine and human.
